Aspronisia is a group of three rocky islets northeast of Lipsi, considered one of the most exotic places in Greece. When two of the islets converge, a bright white beach with limestone cliffs and blue waters forms, creating the kind of summery scenery we dream of all winter.
Plunging into the crystal clear, icy waters is always a pleasantly shrieky experience. Large white pebbles are on the shore, but no natural shade exists. There are no amenities on the island of Aspronisia (no umbrellas or sunbeds, no taverna) and no accommodations—hotels, apartments, and studios you can find on the nearby islands of Lipsi and Leros.
During summer, there are day boat cruises from Lipsi to Aspronisia.
