Short introduction to the breathtakingly small Voutoumi beach
Voutoumi is an attractive, pebbled beach on the northeastern side of Antipaxos Island. It is situated inside a large bay surrounded by white limestone rocks. That’s why it attracts many visitors from the neighboring islands of Paxi, Corfu, and Italy during the summer months, especially those who love to swim in the inviting Caribbean blue waters. Most importantly, the water here is shallow. Therefore, it is ideal for people of all ages, and snorkeling near the rocks is pleasant.
Voutoumi Beach is a much-preferred destination for private yachts, water taxis, and tour boats. Secondly, sun beds on the coast are few, so it is ideal to bring your own shades provided by the tour operators at Paxi. Thirdly, a tavern serves traditional snacks on the hill beyond the beach. Additionally, there are no shops on the island, but you can taste the popular wine at the taverns. Ultimately, there are also no other facilities in this secluded area.
