About Cala Brandinchi Beach

In an unspoiled protected area, this is one of the most picturesque beaches in Gallura and on the whole Island.

Cala Brandinchi, also known as Tahiti, is one of Sardinia’s most beautiful beaches. You can locate it in Capo Coda Cavallo, almost opposite Tavolara Island, in the territory of San Teodoro. First, the beach will strike you with dazzlingly light sand and light blue turquoise sea water. This stretch of sea is much-loved by snorkeling enthusiasts.

Around the bay are well-kept gardens, a large pine forest, and little dunes protecting a divine shoreline.

When to visit it?

The best time to visit it is from June to the first half of July and the first half of September. After that, the weather could be unstable and rainy. More importantly, you should avoid visiting the entire area in August when ” Ferragosta ” is in Italy. Consequently, the prices are high, and there are crowds everywhere.

How to get there?

The closest airport is Olbia international airport. Once you land, hiring a car and driving to San Teodoro is the best option.

Cala Brandinchi is the most famous beach in the whole in the San Teodoro area, which boasts numerous other beautiful gems along its coast; for instance, the bordering ‘sister’ beach of Lu Impostu, further south, divided by the peninsula of Punta Aldìa, there is La Cinta, the symbol San Teodoro. Further south of the San Teodoro region, you will find another Isuledda, with its beautiful beach and transparent sea.

Tip: If you decide to go there by car, try not to park at the Cala Brandinchi parking lot but at the Lu Impostu Parking lot instead. It is much cheaper, but you must walk for one km. However, you will cross the beautiful Lu Impostu beach. So we gather this shouldn’t be a problem for you.
