Fantazima in Koper is one of the main reasons you should spend your Christmas in Slovenia.

The enchanting Spruce Forest will extend into the Lower English Hill, showcasing Ljubljana’s impressive larger wooden nativity scene. Enjoy the warmth of the harbor courtyard, complete with inviting fires, live music, a vibrant festive market, warm drinks, and delicious food.

Visitors can hop on a traditional Pletna boat and enjoy a scenic ride to the island, where they can climb 99 stone steps to reach the church and its bell tower. Inside, a legendary wishing bell invites you to share your heart’s desires by ringing it three times. And remember Bled Castle, which overlooks this beautiful scenery and adds to the fairytale charm!

In winter, Lake Bled transforms into a magical wonderland. The town comes alive with the Bled Winter Fairytale Christmas Market, making it the perfect spot to enjoy festive delights.
