About the La Cinta Beach in Sardinia

In general, one of the symbols of the northeastern coast and Sardinia is an arched stripe of fine sand separating a lagoon from the sea, with dunes covered by ancient juniper trees.

The Cinta is a 5-km arch of fine white sand with a clear sky-blue sea, surrounded by juniper, sea lilies, strawflowers, and uncontaminated lagoons. Its sea is shallow, so the beach is popular with families and nature lovers. It is undoubtedly one of the most famous beaches in San Teodoro, with striking natural landscapes accessible on foot from the northern outskirts of the town.

Another charming attraction is the view towards the sea, especially the marine area of Punta Coda Cavallo – Tavolara Island, which rises from the sea with its glorious profile of San Teodoro lagoon.

It is the ideal place for long walks. So, try some bird watching and admire pink flamingos in its lagoon.

The best time to visit it is from June to the first half of July and the first half of September. After that, the weather could be unstable and rainy. More importantly, you should avoid visiting the whole area in August when ” Ferragosta ” is in Italy. Consequently, the prices are high, and there are crowds everywhere.
