A brief intro to Lu Impostu Beach in Sardinia
Firstly, it lies among two more famous sisters, La Cinta Beach, and Cala Brandinchi Beach. Although it is less popular, it is equally enchanting. That’s why we recommend you visit it. Juniper trees, mimosas, and sea lilies surround one kilometer-long soft white, and sandy beach. The water is clean and generally shallow. So, it is perfect for families with children.
Is the beach organized?
Lu Impostu ensures all amenities and services: it is accessible to disabled people. It has plenty of parking space (for campers), a restaurant, and rental agencies for boats and beach equipment.
Note: There is only one bar at the end of the beach. You should know that most of the Sardinian beaches are protected areas. Therefore, you will find no accommodation there, and almost always, only a bar or two. But that makes them even more appealing.
When to visit it?
The best time to visit it is from June to the first half of July and the first half of September. After that, the weather could be unstable and rainy. More importantly, you should avoid visiting the whole area in August when ” Ferragosta ” is in Italy. Consequently, the prices are high, and there are crowds everywhere.
