In the summer, the beach becomes a vital tourist center. It is an earthly paradise for all sea lovers thanks to its pristine waters with emerald and turquoise colorings.

Furthermore, you will find a series of lidos (bars) and bathing facilities there. Therefore finding a refreshment shouldn’t be a problem. In addition, there are also beautiful stretches of free beach, easily accessible from Punta della Suina or the pine forest on the long cove of Baia di Gallipoli. There is even a forest, which will protect you from the summer sun and the crowds. So, as you can see, there is something for everybody. Peace and party in one place. Can you imagine?

The sands of the Punta della Suina are characteristically white. Furthermore, the sandy shore with the vast rocks is quite a remarkable sight.

Apart from the beautiful clear waters, sunrises and sunsets are a delight. The panoramic views are also among the top reasons visitors love this beach. If you have the opportunity, it’s worth getting up early or staying late.

The Punta della Suina beach is kid and pet-friendly, so you can bring your entire family to this beach without any problem.

When to visit the Italian Caribbean?

We recommend visiting in May, June (or even July), and September, when there are fewer crowds and more affordable prices. But we don’t recommend seeing it in August, the time of Ferragosta when all Italians go on vacation.

Where to stay?

If you want easy access to the beach, we recommend staying in Gallipoli and its surroundings.
Firstly, it is a stunning medieval town with plenty of going on in the summer. And secondly, because you will find numerous beautiful beaches over there. So, if you are looking for accommodation, please click the link and choose your favorite apartment.
