Paleokastritsa beaches

Paleokastritsa is the Island’s most scenic resort. Massive, green cliffs surround the coast, and many sea caves, accessible only by boat, are around Paleokastritsa.

Six beaches, each more beautiful than the next, in an area that for decades reigned as Corfu’s queen of tourism. Take note:

  • Agia Triada: deep waters with a sometimes rocky, sometimes sandy seabed. Water skiing, parasailing, boat rentals, bars, and restaurants are just some of the facilities and activities you’ll find here.
  • Alipa is a sandy beach with a crystal-clear sea. Furthermore, you’ll find umbrellas, sunbeds, boat rentals, and a restaurant on this well-organized beach.
  • Agios Spyridonas is the most picturesque and popular of all the beaches in Paleokastritsa since it looks out at the cliffs.
  • Agios Petros is a sandy beach ideal for water sports.
  • Ambelaki: A quiet beach with deep water and rocky seabed, fully equipped with umbrellas, sunbeds, and boat rentals.
  • Platakia is two neighboring pebble beaches organized with umbrellas, sunbeds, and a restaurant.

Paradise beach

Chomi is also known as Paradise Beach, thanks to its picture-perfect nature. Towering cliffs guard pale white sands lapped by the clearest of seas.

Chomi is not Corfu’s busiest beach because it’s a challenge to get to. There are no paths down from the cliffs, and you can only approach it by boat from Gefyra or Paleokastritsa. Boat captains will drop off and pick up visitors at relatively regular intervals in the high season.

Bataria Beach

Bataria is the best of several fine beaches and coves that surround a peninsula jutting into the Ionian Sea outside the fishing village of Kassiopi on the north coast of Corfu.

Surrounded by low cliffs and with gently shelving waters, it’s a great family option, and there’s a beach bar here offering facilities including umbrellas and sun beds.
